Our Family & Farm History
Our family immigrated to the United States from South Africa in 2001 when Anna Faul got a job at the University of Louisville. Farming has is both a part of our culture in South Africa as well as part of our family's history. Andre Faul Sr. grew up on a citrus and vegetable farm, Riverside Farm, in northeastern South Africa with his five siblings. Owning their own farm and nurturing the land with their family was a dream for Andre and Anna that remained with them even as our family moved to a different continent.
In 2015, we fulfilled this dream by purchasing our 100 acre farm in Henry County. This farm that has become part of our family's history has its own rich legacy we are honored to continue. This land was part of a larger family farm of the Coleman family since the early 1800's. We are honored to unite our two family's histories through nurturing this shared land. Our farm gets its name from our family's farm in South Africa, honoring the replanting of our family's South African roots in Henry County, KY.
