Collection: Pasture-Raised Pork

The pork industry has really devolved into producing a product with no flavor and zero appeal.  Not to mention the horrendous conditions that the animals are raised in.  Pigs by nature are inquisitive, smart animals that need interaction and stimulation to thrive. We use the same pasture model to raise the pigs we have on our farm.  In addition to pasture our pigs are also given access to a woodlot area where they can root and dig up grubs, nuts and other vegetation.  We let pigs be pigs, and by doing that our animals are healthier and are able to thrive. 

We feed our pigs a Non-GMO grain diet and they supplement their diet with whatever they can find in the woods/pasture.  When available, we buy excess fruit from a fruit farm close by to feed to our hogs.  Our pasture/woodlot model for raising pigs is better for the animal, better for the environment and better for you!
